The RSPB, together with the Wildlife Trusts, WWF UK and the Scottish Association for Marine Science, is developing the first map of the UK’s blue carbon stores to show how significant our seas are in capturing carbon.

It will demonstrate how closely linked the fights are against the climate and nature crises, and governments can use this data to better plan for and protect our marine ecosystems. learn more about blue carbon here.
