Look for geese, swans, ducks and waders close to shore, while out on the water divers, grebes and scoters may be seen.

The spectacular sight and sound of thousands of waders and wildfowl makes this nature reserve well worth a visit.

Keep an eye out for dazzling Bearded Tits skimming low over the vast reedbeds as you wander alongside the winding river.
