Thank you to all who signed our petition calling for continued UK Government investment in nature-friendly farming – an incredible 106,744 of you. For months, alongside RSPB members and supporters, farmers and nature groups, we made the case for protecting England’s nature-friendly farming budget.

Our pleas were impossible to ignore. In June, Chancellor Rachel Reeves announced the biggest ever annual nature-friendly farming budget. This news was a huge relief after rumours of cuts. It’s a big win for nature, for farmers, and for all of us.

Together, we’ve shown the UK Government that there is a groundswell of support for nature-friendly farming, and we’ll keep up the momentum to make sure farmers have everything they need to help wildlife recover.
