Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) remains a big threat to the UK’s birds. Targeted 2023 surveys assessing the impacts of HPAI on seabirds in 2021 and 2022 revealed worrying results, some of which are illustrated below – read more in the HPAI Seabird Surveys Report.
