Restoring balance
Rathlin Island has long been home to some of the largest breeding populations of seabirds anywhere in the UK. These species, as well as the millions of birds that inhabit other islands along our coastlines, are at risk of extinction due to the threat presented by invasive species. The RSPB’s Island Restoration Programme is working to tackle this crisis.
